I don't know what it's going to be like there. What if I don't fit in?

Abraham didn't get the map — he got the call, and that turned out to be enough. You don't need to see the whole road either, just the willingness to take the next step with Him.

The conversation

The child: “Daddy God, I don't know what it's going to be like there. What if I don't fit in?”

God: “Not knowing what's ahead is hard. I understand that more than you think.”

The child: “How would You understand?”

God: “There was a man named Abraham I once asked to leave everything he knew, without telling him where he was going.”

The child: “He just... went? Without knowing?”

God: “He trusted the One doing the calling more than he needed the whole map.”

The child: “That sounds scary.”

God: “It was. And it still turned into more than he could have imagined.”

God: “You don't need to see the whole road. Just the next step.”

The child: “Will You be there when we get to the new place too?”

God: “I'm already there. I go ahead of you, every time.”
