There's just so much to do... I don't even know where to start.
You don't have to finish the whole week today — just this moment, and He's already in it with you.
The conversation
The child: “Daddy God, there's just so much to do... I don't even know where to start.”
God: “You're not meant to carry all of it at once.”
The child: “But if I don't finish it all today, I'll fall behind.”
God: “Behind who? This isn't a race only you can see.”
God: “Let's start with just this one thing.”
The child: “Just... one thing?”
The child: “It feels lighter already.”
God: “That's what happens when you stop carrying tomorrow's weight today.”
The child: “But what about everything else still waiting?”
God: “I'm already there too — tomorrow and today.”
The child: “What if I just want it all done right now?”
God: “I know. But growth doesn't rush, and neither do I with you.”
The child: “I did it. Just the one thing.”
God: “And look — the sky didn't fall.”
The child: “Thank You for staying while I figured it out.”
God: “Always. One thing at a time, together.”
