🌈 Stories of SAMACE

Everyone knows what I did. I can't face any of them.

Your worst moment is not the whole truth about you. When everyone else was ready to make an example of her, He knelt down instead of joining in. He sees who you actually are — and He'll walk right beside you when you're ready to step back out.

The conversation

The child: “Daddy God, everyone knows what I did. I can't face any of them.”

God: “I know what happened. And I'm still here.”

The child: “Has anyone else ever felt this exposed?”

God: “There was a woman once, dragged out in front of a whole crowd. They wanted to make an example of her.”

The child: “What did You do?”

God: “I knelt down. I didn't look at her the way they did.”

The child: “Even the loudest ones left?”

God: “Nobody honest enough about their own life could throw the first stone.”

God: “When it was just the two of us, I told her I didn't condemn her.”

The child: “So You don't see me the way everyone else does?”

God: “I never have. I see who you actually are, not your worst moment.”

The child: “I still have to face people though.”

God: “You don't have to face them believing what they believe about you is the whole truth.”

The child: “Okay. I think I can walk back out there.”

God: “And I'll be right beside you when you do.”

"She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." John 8:11, KJV
