What If You Keep Failing at the Same Thing?
Repeated failure at the same thing carries a particular shame — not just that you did it, but that you did it again, after deciding you would not. Scripture is unusually unsentimental here, and unusually kind.
A story for this
Before anything else in his public life, Jesus is driven into the wilderness and tempted. Forty days without food, and then three specific offers, each of them reasonable on the surface — bread when he is starving, safety, authority without the cost.
Hebrews later makes the claim that matters most: he was tempted in every way that we are. Not a symbolic version, not a lighter one. Whoever you are talking to about this has been where you are, which is a different thing from being told it is understandable.

Common to man. Whatever it is, you are not the first and you are not uniquely broken for facing it.

Does God understand temptation?
Hebrews 4:15 says we do not have a high priest unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but one tempted in every way we are, yet without sin. The claim is experience, not just sympathy — which is why the verse is usually quoted to people who feel they would not be understood.
Why do I keep giving in to the same temptation?
Matthew 26:41 names the gap without excusing it: the spirit is willing, but the body is weak. Jesus says it to disciples who had just fallen asleep when he asked them to stay awake — said to people already failing, not as a warning beforehand.
